About the Network
The West Midlands Pharmacy RDN Network are a group of pharmacy staff who work in hospital clinical trials and research delivery across the West Midlands. The network has recently been set up again and would like more people to join.
Working in trials pharmacy, you often don’t have anyone nearby doing the same job. The network meet to share problems and solutions so nobody has to work them out alone.
What they aim to do
- Share templates, processes and lessons learned
- Talk through common challenges in setting up and delivering trials
- Give each other advice and peer support
- Improve how pharmacy delivers research across the region
Meetings
A mixture of online or face-to-face meetings every two months. At each meeting you can:
- Hear what other Trusts are working on
- Bring a problem and get ideas from colleagues
- Swap resources and examples of good practice
Who can join
Membership is free. It’s open to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in hospital clinical trials and research delivery in the West Midlands.
