We are delighted that Romana has joined the PRUK team to take on this challenging role within the research team. As Research Coordinator, Romana will be the first port of call for any queries for PRUK as well as being responsible for managing correspondences for the annual Health Services Research and Pharmacy Practice (HSRPP) Conference. She will assist in the management of PRUK funded projects, awards and bursaries and provide financial and logistical support to PRUK team and its Trustees and Panel members.
Romana was born in Croatia during the Croatian War of Independence and her family moved to New Zealand when she was very young. Romana is a bit of a thrill seeker, she has been skydiving and is also a keen hiker and has hit the summit of both Mt Tongariro and Mt Warning. She moved to London 6 months ago with the goal of gaining international experience in the public health and pharmacy sector especially, and on the weekend she likes to delve into the various food markets dotted around the capital.
