Do you have experience in a marketing or fundraising role?

PRUK are looking for a Fundraising and Communications Assistant to help grow our income streams and improve our communications channels.  This new role will be responsible for the coordination of our charity communications and for the administration around our fundraising activities.  In particular the post holder will be responsible for our social media channels and maintaining our web presence, as well as researching potential funders and contributing to funding applications.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication and research skills, be proactive and have an analytical approach. It goes without saying that we are looking for first class digital communication and social media skills. Ideally you will have previous experience in a marketing or fundraising role and an interest in the science of pharmacy is essential.

Note that while this role is with PRUK, we are hosted by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) so employees have full access to the RPS benefits and support; the recruitment for this role will be managed by the RPS.

Contract type: 18 months fixed term, full time

Salary: £22,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
