My research interest is whether schools of pharmacy are preparing students for their legal responsibilities in practice or have they narrowed the law curriculum solely to meet the needs of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration exam.
I am seeking funding for two years to complete my studies towards a diploma in research methods which is part of a longer doctoral programme at Bath University.
I have been accepted to student the Doctorate of Health at the University of Bath. This is taught by distance learning. The first two years lead to a postgraduate diploma in research. At the end of the two year students then have a number of routes to Master of Research, Doctorate of Health or Doctorate of Philosophy. In each of the first two years there is a one week summer school in September. At the end of the first two years I plan to move onto a PhD study programme.
This project is running from September 2018 to July 2021.
