I am accountable and responsible for PRUK activities, working closely with the Board of Trustees to deliver our vision and strategy. I have oversight of our work in research funding, policy, fundraising, partnership, impact and communications in addition to leading the financial management of the charity.

I have spent over a decade in the health related voluntary sector as a volunteer, employee, Trustee and a Chief Executive, before stepping into a variety of Patient and Public Involvement roles, mostly within the National Institute for Health Research. During the last 20 years I have been a lay member of a number of non-government, national advisory bodies, steering groups and committees, including the organising committee of an international scientific conference and the REF2014.
